1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of this website, operated by the [Sebbie Hall Kindness Foundation] ("we", "us", "our"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Using the site

You agree to use the site lawfully and not to: misuse it, attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt it, or use it to post or transmit anything unlawful, harmful, or that infringes others' rights.

3. The Kindness Challenge

The Kindness Challenge encourages small, real-world acts of kindness. Please:

  • Only tick off acts you have genuinely carried out.
  • Carry out acts safely, lawfully and with respect for others — you are responsible for your own actions.
  • Understand that "KindCoins" have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money or prizes, and are simply a way to recognise participation.

We may moderate, remove or suspend accounts or content that break these terms or that we reasonably consider inappropriate.

4. Your account

If you create a Kindness Challenge account, keep your access secure. Sign-in is by email "magic link"; you are responsible for activity carried out through your account.

5. Donations

Donations are handled by JustGiving, a third-party platform. When you donate you leave our site and JustGiving's own terms and privacy policy apply. We do not process or store your payment details. [Gift Aid, where applicable, is handled through JustGiving.]

6. Intellectual property

The content on this site — including text, images, logos, the "Sebbie Hall" name and branding — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse it without our permission, except as allowed by law.

7. Content you submit

When you send us a message or other content, you confirm it is accurate and lawful, and you grant us permission to use it to respond to you and operate the site. Do not submit anything unlawful, defamatory, or that infringes others' rights.

8. Third-party links

The site may link to other websites (such as JustGiving or social media). We are not responsible for their content or practices.

9. Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". While we work hard to keep it accurate and running, we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that the content is complete or up to date.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so (including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable, or that arises from your misuse of the site. [This section should be reviewed by a solicitor.]

11. Privacy

Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date shows when they last changed; continued use of the site means you accept the current terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
